Are You Providing the Best Kids Supplements and Vitamins for Your Children?

always give my girls the best kids supplements and vitamins that I know of even though I try and try to make sure that my girls get all the right things to eat. Primarily because I can't be every where at all times for them. And I know that if they are only eating the same foods over and over again that they are not getting a full spectrum of essential vitamins and minerals to support their growing bodies.

And my kids are growing! My fourteen year old is 5'11" and my ten year old is 5'7". Both are still growing which their respective volleyball coaches love. I'm sure that the shoe companies love it as well since we can't seem to keep them in a pair long enough to wear them out. But I digress.

Even with all my attempts to provide a proper nutritional regime I still give them kids supplements on a regular basis to make sure that I'm not missing anything that they may need. There are many on-line guides about what supplements that you should provide your kids and how much. Me, I work from the perspective of they need them all. There is no one "magic bullet". That's why I give my girls a multivitamin and mineral supplement from a company that is rated top in its industry and is based on scientific research to ensure that they are getting the best results from their product. You can contact me directly if you'd like to know more about the brand that I recommend.

You can also reference Dr. Lyle McWilliam's Comparative Guide to Nutritional Supplements. He reviews 1500 different products that are available in the US and Canada and provides a ranking scale to help you choose the best product or at the least show you how yours compares to other products. You might think that you're getting a bargain when buy those Kids Supplements in bulk for twenty bucks but to really get the best nutritional value from what you bought you'd have to digest that whole bottle in a month. Even then most of the nutritional value wouldn't be absorbed by your body. He has also written a book specific to Children's Nutritionals. In this publication he presents startling scientific evidence of the link between dietary patterns in early childhood and the later onset of degenerative disease.

Harvard Medical School

"Until recently, it was taught in this country that everyone
gets enough vitamins from food, and that taking supplements
just creates expensive urine. I think we now have proof that
this is not true." - Dr. Walter Willett

So What are the Kids Supplements that your Children should be taking?

For starters you want to make sure that they are getting a full spectrum Multivitamin and Mineral Supplement. Vitamins and minerals are the necessary building blocks to ensure proper growth, immune functions, metabolism, digestion, muscle and nerve development and function. Poor diets can put our kids bodies out of nutritional balance. Athletic activities further deplete these precious nutritional reserves in our kids bodies. Supplementation can help keep our kids energy levels up and enhance their concentration at school. Maybe they'll pay attention more at home as well. (I can hope can't I?)
